We have created a smartphone app that uses the power of financial incentives to improve patient adherence. Our technology also provides valuable information to nurses and other healthcare professionals in the form of weekly adherence report cards and real-time alerts to help provide high-touch care to their patients. Patients are offered a financial incentive to check in every day by taking a photo of their medication and/or attend scheduled medical appointments aligning with their care plan. 


JOB SUMMARY


The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. The Human Resource Coordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. This role reports into the VP of People Operations. 


JOB LOCATION


Los Angeles, CA - remote for now


JOB HOURS


  • Full-time 

  • Weekdays, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

  • Occasional weekends may be required


REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents, notifies payroll of employee changes to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

  • Completes new hire onboarding documents, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.

  • Submits online new hire background check requests and tracks progress.

  • Assists with processing of terminations and schedules exit interviews.

  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.

  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up emails during and at the end of the recruiting process.

  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.

  • Supports onboarding new hires, facilitates orientation for new hires, and ensures training assignments have been completed. 

  • Assists with updating and running various reports. 

  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.

  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.

  • Updates new hire data.

  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), excel, powerpoint, and Google Suite are a must.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
